"Leslie's Dresser" .... I'm now sketching the designs scaled to the dresser and I hope to get started on the painting part tonight... now that I can get back to my "space".. see below.. =)

We (and by "we", I mean Larry!) got the painting all finished downstairs and have moved the furniture back into place.  I can finally get back down there to paint! Yay!  But there is still a lot left to do.. the flooring needs to go in, we need new lighting, window treatments and lastly will be new furniture. I'm holding out for the "buy a sofa suite and get a FREE tv deal!" =)

I'm thinking of getting a roll of prim wallpaper to put against the back wall, behind the armoire. I'll have to be careful not to pick a busy pattern, because it will have to blend in with the rest of the area.  I just thought it would be a great inspiration to have around me.

I got rid of my plastic trolley that I used to store my paint in, as well as various needfuls.   I posted a question on the DAIC website, asking people for suggestions on how to store my paint. I wanted to be able to "hide" them, as my space was incorporated into "our" space and wanted to keep it tidy.

I was very pleased with all the suggestions and have saved them for later use.  Meanwhile, the best one to fit my current situation, was to use a dresser as storage.  I quickly went "shopping" in my garage and basement and decided to use this armoire, that really wasn't being used for anything (Shame!)

It's a perfect fit for down there and works perfect for storage.  I made a quick trip to the dollar store and bought a bunch of baskets to help contain my bits and bobs!  Now I can easily get to whatever supplies I need, then close the door/drawer and pretend that it was never there! =)

Oliver's bouncing into Spring!

What better way to welcome Spring, than to turn an ordinary piece of furniture into a beautiful piece of art?!  You can virtually use anything you have around.. from a desk, to a chest of drawers, to an old wooden chair!

Take a look around your house, or your garage and see what treasures you have just sitting around, and give them a brand new life!

After all, isn't that what Spring is all about?

PATTERN PACKETS!

COMING SOON!

I've added a new category to the side bar, called "Pattern Packets".   Here you will find new designs, complete with photos and instructions for you to paint!  I'm currently working on a few designs and hope to have them ready in the next few months.

How to order... Humm....???

The Paypal shopping cart system on this website is not configured to give shipping costs, due to the varied cost of shipping to different countries.

Having said that....

There are two ways you can order.  First is by using the Order Form located in the left hand toolbar.  Simply fill it in and submit it.  I will contact you from there.

Second, is to click on Add to cart, which will take you directly to a Paypal order form, where you can continue to shop, remove an item or continue to check out.  Once that is done, I will email you with a shipping charge.
