Hi, my name is Linda Morley, and I live in Kingston, ON, Canada with my two teenage daughters and our dog, Oliver. I'm so grateful for my supporting family. They always allow me time to paint and are my biggest fans!
This site was named "Oliver's Look Out" because our beloved puppy has a special place out on our back deck, where he can see what all the neighbourhood animals (squirrels, rabbits, cats, ground hogs and the odd deer) are up to.

I'm a member of the DAIC, which is a great site for painters and I highly recommend having a peek. You'll find many other artists there, and loads of tips.
I started painting ceramics almost 20 years ago and after a few years of that, I decided to try my hand at tole painting and this is where I stayed. I love to tole paint on everything and anything I can get my hands on! I've been painting for about 15 years now. I say "about" because the time I had to paint would come and go, as the girls were growing up. Now that they are pretty much self sufficient and don't "need" mom as much anymore, it leaves me more free time to paint!
My favourite things to paint are Christmas designs. It's my favourite time of the year, and the time where I get most inspired. I have a collection of many other styles that I've painted in the past, but I always come back to Santas and Snow people!
I'm looking forward to keeping up with this website, to watch it grow and hopefully many visitors will take a trip to Oliver's Look Out!
