I finally got a week off from work, and let me tell you.. it seems like forever since I've had one!  I started my week off by travelling to Cornwall to visit with a very dear friend of mine (I'd say old friend, but I know she wouldn't like that!) =)  We did our usual, which was eat, laugh, drink, laugh, shop and watch some movies to laugh some more! (Not necessarily in that order..)  The weekend zipped by without either one of us noticing!  I think there was something wrong with the clocks over the weekend! hehe..

So here I sit.. trying to plan my week productively.. tried to call Judy (my gal pal who I will be hosting the Open House with this fall) only to find she wasn't home.  Which, is a good thing because we would probably still be talking on the phone!!  If you saw my Home page, you would have noticed the pictures of all the renos that are going on in and around my painting space.  This has really put a halt to any painting projects I had going on.  I've been itching to get back down there but as you can see.. not a good idea.  I did, however, do one project up in my kitchen (it was Kim Christmas' postcard contest) and it took me forever to get it done because once seated, I'd look for something and realize that I didn't bring it up with me, so back down I went. I spent the majority of my evening up and down the stairs (great workout mind you, but not what I was looking to get done!)  So I need to be patient and wait for the renos to be over with. 

Meanwhile, I will try and get my first pattern posted this week.  I have lots to do still, mainly organize it.. so that it makes sense!  Not as easy as it sounds! There are loads of little details that you don't think about until you have to write it all down! But that's the fun of all this, I'm loving the challenge to say the least!

Hannah will be doing her Confirmation this Friday, so we need to go dress and shoe shopping as well as plan out the evening.. And Saturday I'm going to Montreal to go grad outfit shopping with Jazmine and her boyfriend.  So lots of shopping in the middle of pattern planning! 

Upward and onward!! Gotta get to my day before it's time to kick back with a glass of vino!!  Ahhh!! Loving being on holiday!! =)
