Here we are, starting a new decade.  Wow.. where DOES the time go??  Seems like yesterday both my babies were born and my first one is going off to university this fall, and my little one is going into grade 9.  Let us not forget Oliver, who will be 3 in the spring.

I've attempted to start a profile page on Facebook, in hopes that I will be able to update you better when something new is posted on my website.  We'll try it out.. see out it goes.. Those of you who know me, know I'm not a Facebook fan to start with..so this will be yet another challenge for me. =) 

I've been busy painting new Christmas ornaments for 2010, which will be available on my website this fall.  Apart from that, I'm working on creating my own designs, and hope to have some pattern packets available for those who are interested.  Of course, my biggest challenge this year will be to hopefully have some designs published. I have been getting wonderful advice from a fellow painter, who has been ever so kind in helping me out with the ins and outs.  I would post her name, but would want her permission first.

Starting next week, I will be attempting a new style of painting and am quite excited about it.  It's an online course and I will be learning how to paint landscapes on canvas. I think that this style will benefit me with my designs and I hope to be able to create some wonderful paintings.
